The Spanish forward donned a different jersey in the second period. As it had neither the club’s emblem nor the shirt sponsor logo, Nike.

The reason for this was he forgot to wear the correct jersey as he was in a hurry to atone for his missing sitters in the game.

Torres was the main character in the draw, for good and bad reasons. He was the player who had the most shots on goal in the first half. Then he scored the equalising penalty. Before missing several clear chances that could’ve won the game for the hosts.

In 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou, Ferran scored a penalty but wasted three golden chances to give Barcelona a first-leg edge against Napoli.

The former Manchester City attacker missed a chance to put Barcelona ahead with a shot from Aubameyang that went high and wide. During the second half, things were about to get a lot worse.

The first leg between Barcelona and Napoli was the most anticipated tie in the Europa League Playoffs.

And it did not disappoint as the two sides produced a great contest that ended in a 1-1 draw but deserved much more.

Barca were brilliant all night and created numerous chances to win the game handily.

But after falling behind in the first period, they could only level with a second-half penalty.

The tie is wide open ahead of the second leg in Naples next week.

And Barça will travel to Italy knowing they may already be in the Round of 16 if they win.
