Tuesday’s match between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid is full of great storylines. Keylor Navas and Achraf Hakimi are formerly of Madrid.

As is centre-back Sergio Ramos, though he misses the first leg meeting with Los Blancos.

Mauricio Pochettino has previously been touted with the Madrid job. Kylian Mbappe is widely expected to join Madrid in the summer, while Neymar and Leo Messi are ex-Barcelona.

At Madrid you have Karim Benzema who has really emerged as the best player in La Liga since Messi’s departure.

Vinicius Junior has also kicked on and will hope to get one over on his Brazilian counter-part Neymar on Tuesday.

PSG have a formidable home record this season.

They have won 14 of their 16 matches in all competitions and haven’t conceded at the Parc des Princes since early December.

Madrid, meanwhile, have a healthy lead at the top of La Liga but have stumbled of late with only one win across their last four.

The absence of Benzema in that time has been huge at the top end of the pitch and while he is expected to return on Tuesday.

He most likely won’t be in fantastic shape after only managing to take part in aspects of training on Sunday.
