Mbappe: Real Madrid’s alternative striker

52

Real Madrid supporters and directors have wished for Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to be in the same squad for months.

They tried to entice the Norwegian international to Madrid, but financial and sports realities pushed them to back out.

Los Blancos are in need of a striker to replace Karim Benzema, since neither Mariano Diaz nor Luka Jovic are expected to return next season.

Real Madrid is looking for a young, promising striker who can develop into an excellent striker in the future. Mbappe might also play as a false nine now that Benzema is an undisputed starter.

Real Madrid’s intentions are known to the current Paris Saint-Germain forward, and he is receptive to the notion.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of Real Madrid signing a game-changing talent. Los Blancos are looking for a striker who can make an impact in the future after Haaland’s move to Manchester City became official.

Rodrygo, Benzema, and Vinicius

Real Madrid’s offense for next season is expected to consist of Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema, and Rodrygo Goes, with all indications that Eden Hazard will return despite his injury.

Carlo Ancelotti has no plans for Mariano or Jovic, and it’s unclear what will happen to Marco Asensio, whose contract runs out on June 30, 2023.

Real Madrid will not rush to recruit a striker if Mbappe joins in the summer, thus neither Raul de Tomas nor Borja Mayoral are expected to return.

Moukoko and Endrick

Endrick, a 15-year-old Brazilian attacker who has shone for Palmeiras’ youth teams but has yet to play for the first squad, is one of the players who has piqued Real Madrid’s interest.

Meanwhile, Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund has been attracting interest from several European teams since the age of 12 due to his goal-scoring statistics in Germany.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, is on the lookout for a prodigious forward who can develop at the club, as they have done with Vinicius and Rodrygo.
